Performative Beuys

In the Atlas Sztuki exhibition space, we will show the following works:

In the form of projection on screens and monitors. 
The assumption of the exhibition is to show Beuys' action and present him as an artist using a medium such as video. Despite the fact that Joseph Beuys has been dead for more than a quarter of a century, the issues he raises are still relevant. In retrospect, the greatness of Beuys, who is one of the most influential artists and personalities of contemporary art, can be seen even more clearly.
In the catalogue we publish two texts on the work of Joseph Beuys. The author of the first of them is Prof. Dr. Eugen Blume, whose professional activity since studying at the Humboldt University in Berlin has been related to the issues of Beuys defining the concept of art. Professor Blume was the curator of two important exhibitions recently presented at the Nationalgalerie in Hamburger Bahnhof The cult of artists: Beuys. The Revolution is a whirl (03.10.2008-25.01.2009) I Joseph Beuys: 8 Tage in Japan und die Utopia EURASIA (08.10.2011-01.01.2012). Currently prof. Blume is preparing an individual exhibition of Joseph Beuys' work at the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art. The second text was written by Dr. Leszek Karczewski, a critic of the young generation, with different experiences than Eugene Blume, and thus looking at Beuys' work from a different perspective. I highly recommend reading both texts.
In insiting you to the Atlas Sztuki, I would like to draw your attention to the appearance in the catalogue next to the logo of our permanent partner Atlas and the logo of the Nationalgalerie in Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart also the logo of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. For the second time, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Poland, Mr. Rüdiger Freiherr von Frtisch, took over the exhibition at Atlas Sztuki under his honorary patronage. The presence of the logo of the Polish-German Cooperation Foundation, whose Management Board decided to financially support our project, is also pleased.
