Performative Beuys

Joseph Beuys’s videos document artistic actions and a discussion held on 21 January 1970 with Beuys, Max Bense, Max Bill and Arnold Gehlen on Provokation Lebenselement der Gesellschaft – Zu Kunst und Antikunst. The videos come from the collection of the Joseph Beuys Medien-Archiv, founded in 1996 at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart.
