Józef Robakowski: The Energy Manifesto!

It is difficult to imagine Atlas Sztuki’s exhibition programme—in which we try to present everything of interest in contemporary art—without Józef Robakowski. Both a master and a classic, over the years he has worked as a multimedia artist, film director, maker of documentary and experimental films, writer, art critic and organiser of independent artistic life. Now associated with the Łódź Film School, he taught successive generations of artists, critics and art curators at a number of higher-education institutions for many years. In short, he is a versatile artist and a one-man orchestra; an artist who has achieved considerable success in Poland and abroad; a highly important and active figure in Łódź cultural life. In addition, he is a cheerful and kind person.

At Atlas Sztuki, Józef Robakowski will present The Energy Manifesto!—a spectacle about the power of the elements and the vitality that lies dormant not only in human beings but also in nature, with a waterfall in the leading role.
