Ilya & Emilia Kabakov: Ten Albums by Ilya Kabakov

Ilya Kabakov’s artistic career has already spanned almost half a century. Born in Dnipropetrovsk in 1933, the artist has lived and worked in the West since 1988. That year also marked the beginning of his triumphant progress through the world’s leading exhibition venues, where he primarily creates his installations. The institutions that have presented Ilya Kabakov’s work include the Museum of Modern Art, the Jewish Museum and Ronald Feldman Fine Arts in New York; Kunstmuseum Bern; the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam; the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC; the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow; the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg; Donald Judd’s Chinati Foundation in Marfa; and Tate Gallery in London.
